Tag 2: Kennenlernen der indischen Studierenden und "indian cooking class"

We are in India - so for the next two days, we are blogging in english... :)

The highlight and focus of day 2 was to finally meet our Indian counterparts. The day started off with an Ice Breaker session, organized by our Indian friends. We had to introduce ourselves as groups in a possibly creative way, some of the groups really had some good ideas for that. For example, some of the guys were singing in front of us.

We continued our session with a funny game, where you had to build towers with spaghettis and marshmallows. The main price for winning this competition was… spaghettis and marshmallows!

Afterwards we heard two interesting presentations about hybrid applications, a mix of web based and native apps and another one about web security. After a short lunch break we met our Indian counterparts again, in order to work on our common project. Some of us have used this time very usefully by.. well.. playing basketball with our Indian guys or just hanging around. Too bad we couldn’t get more time to hang out with them since most of them are pretty cool.

In the evening we met again for a cooking class, where the chief showed us how to prepare and cook proper Indian food. After hours of cooking and waiting it was finally done and we were enjoying our first self-made Indian meal.
